Happy Friday!!! We got back from California and are in full party mode! Wes birthday is Monday so we have his friends party Saturday and family party Sunday. Wes is so so excited he keeps asking the days and hours until his party 🙂

This was one of my favorite outfits from NYFW. Each one of these pieces I found at really different times but had that OMG moment when I tried them on. Gucci has a new designer and all their pieces are so beyond good! Designer pieces are always a big investment but the amount of detail they put into the pieces are so gorgeous. I wanted to pair feminine and grunge together for a “tough meets girly glam” type look. The lace detail of this dress is the perfect feminine contrast with an appliqued denim jacket. Plus a denim jacket is a great casual layer for fall to be able to transition your favorite dresses into the season with a pair of leather ankle boots to complete the look.

I have been obsessed with these boots ever since I got them. I’ve been wearing them non-stop with everything from dresses to denim. They were definitely a splurge but one that will make a wardrobe statement forever.
